lyrics

It was noon, blazing hot
The sun brought tears to my eyes
There was a forest, looming ahead
It was a blessing in disguise
When I sat down, by the edge
I saw lines and dots in the sand
The winds blew, swept them away
Dropping the sand in my hand

Suddenly a vision appeared before my eyes
Beckoned me to listen, before it vaporized
I couldn't see the reason and I never understood
Why that vision came to me at the border of the wood

The sun set, the moon rose
There was a chill in the air
All was quiet, all was still
Only the rustling in the trees

Suddenly faint music made its way to my ears
Beckoned me to follow till again it disappeared
I couldn't see the reason and I never understood
Why that music came to me at the border of the wood

And then by midnight, all was dark
It started raining really hard
I took a chance, and went ahead
As I walked into the wood
I was met, by the vision
While the music drew me near
The vision glowed, the music soared
And I was all in disarray

Slowly then the vision, led me through the dark
Back to the edge, till in the end it disappeared
Till this day I wonder and I never understood
Why this came to pass at the border of the wood
Till this day I wonder and I never understood
Why this came to pass at the border of the wood
Why this came to pass at the border of the wood
Why this came to pass at the border of the wood
